Aquaman and Namor are two classic comic book characters who frequently dominate conversations among fans of the genre. Both are classic characters, praised for their incredible feats and backstories. However, the question is still hotly debated – who came first, Aquaman or Namor? In this blog article, we will attempt to answer this age-old question and provide an informative account of the timeline of these two characters.
Comic book characters are often highly debated among fans. Who is stronger? Who is faster? Who is smarter? But the most common debate of all is who came first? In the case of Aquaman and Namor, this debate has been raging for decades.
The answer is quite simple. Namor came first by a full year. Aquaman first appeared in More Fun Comics #73 in 1941, while Namor’s first appeared in Marvel Comics #1 in 1939.

He can fly, has superhuman strength, and can control water, among other powers. Both have a lot of potential to be great heroes, but it comes down to personal preference. Aquaman is the more traditional hero, while Namor is a bit more edgy and rebellious. Ultimately, it’s up to the individual to decide who they prefer.
