Since the announcement of Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness, fans of Marvel’s beloved trickster god, Loki, have been speculating about his potential return. However, the answer seems clear: Loki will not reappear in Doctor Strange’s sequel. Though some have theorized that Loki might have somehow faked his death or escaped death yet again, this seems highly unlikely given that his death was shown on screen and confirmed by the Russo brothers, the directors of Infinity War.

Secondly, even if Loki were alive, it is doubtful he would join a team with Doctor Strange. While the two could put their differences aside to save the world, it seems more likely that they would remain enemies.
