Why Is Spiderman Not On Disney Plus?
There needs to be more clarity about why Spiderman is not on Disney Plus. Many see this as just another example of Disney trying to take everything it can from Sony, which is not the case. Sony owns the rights to Spider-man in perpetuity, but they can only make him available to someone else if they deal with Disney. That’s why the Spider-Man movie is not on Disney Plus, even though other Sony Marvel Characters like Morbius and Venom is. There have been no discussions between Disney and Sony about adding him to Disney Plus, even though both companies have acknowledged that it would be great if they could come to an arrangement that made sense for everyone. Marvel fans shouldn’t be worried, though, because the movie will be available on Disney Plus by 2024; it won’t be the first movie offered in the service when it launches in November.
In recent years, the deal between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures has allowed Spider-Man to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Sony still owns the rights to the Spiderman character, and they have yet to sign a deal with Disney Plus to allow the Spiderman movies to be streamed on their platform. That’s why you won’t find Spider-Man on Disney Plus.
While this may be disappointing to some fans, it’s important to remember that there are still plenty of great superhero movies and TV shows on Disney Plus. So if you’re looking for your fix of superhero action, you can still find it on Disney Plus, just not with Spider-Man.

Why Isn’t Spiderman On Disney Plus?
Spiderman has been a popular character for many years and is one of the most well-known superheroes in all of America. Sony Pictures has legal rights to the Spiderman character, and they don’t have any contract with Disney Plus for streaming purposes. This means that Sony Pictures can Stream any Spiderman movie on Any Platform they want, and Marvel Studios can’t stop them.
This is where Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other streaming services get their contract. This lack of agreement means that Means Disney Plus Hotstar can only stream Spiderman movies on their platforms with Sony Pictures’ permission.
