With the release date so far in the future, it’s hard to say what the plot of the Film will entail. However, based on the title, it seems safe to assume that the Quantum Realm will play a major role. For those who need a refresher, the Quantum Realm is a parallel dimension first introduced in 2015’s Ant-Man. It’s where the laws of physics as we know them no longer apply, and time and space operate differently. Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) was stuck in the Quantum Realm for five years in the Second Film, and his experience there will play a major part in the sequel.
Of course, the Quantum Realm isn’t the only exciting thing Marvel has in store for us. The studio is also working on other highly anticipated films, including Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, The Marvels and the Sixth Avenger film.
