Those who argue that Superman is stronger than Darkseid point to his unparalleled physical strength. Superman is known for being able to lift entire planets and shoot beams of heat out of his eyes. He is a living nuclear bomb, and his impenetrable skin and super breath only enhance his strength. In addition, Superman can fly faster than the speed of light, making him impossible to hit. His speed and strength make him a powerful opponent for anyone, let alone Darkseid.
On the other side of the argument, those who believe that Darkseid is stronger than Superman cite his vast array of god-like abilities. Darkseid is a New God, meaning he was born of the union of two gods. As a result, he possesses many abilities that make him nearly invincible. He can shoot Omega Beams from his eyes, disintegrating anything in their path. He can control minds and matter and is immune to all physical and mental attacks. In addition, Darkseid has access to the Anti-Life Equation, which allows him to control all living beings in the universe.

Interestingly enough, Superman and Darkseid have a lot in common. They are both alien protagonists who were born on doomed planets. Krypton was set to explode, and Darkseid’s homeworld of Apokolips was an apocalyptic wasteland. Superman was sent to Earth, where he would grow up to become a powerful superhero, and Darkseid is always Superman’s Enemy.
There are, of course, a few key differences between Superman and Darkseid:
- Superman is a superhero who wants to help people, while Darkseid is a supervillain who wants to enslave them.
- Superman has a very strict moral code and would never kill, while Darkseid has no qualms.
- Superman’s powers come from the yellow sun, while Darkseid’s powers come from the Anti-Life Equation.
So, who would win a fight between Superman and Darkseid? The answer is difficult to say.
