Captain America Comics

Captain America is one of the most iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. He first appeared in 1941 and has been a key member of the Avengers ever since. In Marvel DC Crossover, we’ll take a look at the character’s history and how he has become such a beloved superhero.

Captain America was created by two Jews, Jack Kirby and Joe Simon, during the second World War. At the time, America was fighting the Nazis and Simon and Kirby wanted to create a character that would embody the country’s ideals. They succeeded, and Captain America quickly became one of the most popular superheroes of all time.

Interestingly, Captain America is one of the few superheroes who isn’t actually superpowered. His strength and agility come from a serum that he was injected with during the war. This makes him a more relatable character, as he isn’t some all-powerful being that is impossible to identify with.
