The Black Adam movie is a 2022 American superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. The film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by Adam Sztykiel and stars Dwayne Johnson as the titular character. The film is set to be the first installment in the DC Extended Universe’s Shaved head superhero. Johnson is attached to star in and produce a Black Adam and a movie featuring the Justice Society of America.

Not much is known about the plot of Black Adam at this point, but we know that it will be set in the present day and will follow the titular character as he comes into conflict with the Justice Society of America. The film will also feature cameos from other DC Comics characters, including Doctor Fate, Hawkman, and Cyclone.
With such a star-studded cast and an intriguing premise, Black Adam is shaping to be one of the most anticipated superhero movies of 2022.
DC Extended Universes made its debut in 2013 with Man of Steel; the movie grossed $668 million at the box office. And then came Batman vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice in DC Extended Universes, which was released in 2016 and earned $880 million, a good box office collection.
DC Extended Universe was not earning well; DCEU was doing just fine. It seemed that DCEU’s future was bright, but after Covid-19, all DCEU movies had come down very low in the box office collection. For example, Wonder Woman 1984’s box office collection was $166.5 million, Bird of Pray’s $201 million, and The Suicide Squad movie was very good, yet this movie made only 168.7 million dollars. Because of the pandemic, many movies earn much less, so Black Adam will not do much at the box office.
